Kim Dallesandro is a Los Angeles based artist who maintains one of the most interesting presences on Facebook. Not only is she prolific (posting many times everyday) but also has a remarkable eye for imagery - both her own or other's. Like a war correspondent, she continues to photograph Hollywood on and off the boulevard. She returns, on a regular basis, to photograph palm trees on a hilly street, images of streets and building that also include the famous Hollywood sign way off in the distance barely visible but is in the photograph along with the street life on Hollywood Blvd.
This exhibition, Hollywood Stars is based on her photographs of Hollywood Blvd that contain both the tourist plaques devoted to an entertainment celebrity with a star embedded in the sidewalks and the juxtaposing street life which can be colorful or sad or both.
